DOIRON, GILBERT - (1933-2012) - ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Gilbert Doiron 79, of St. Louis de Kent, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 29, 2012. Born in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Euclide and late Marie Rose (Doiron) Doiron. Before retiring, Gilbert was employed as a carpenter. Gilbert will be sadly missed by his loving wife; Angele (Ferrari) Doiron of St. Louis, his daughter; Jocelyne Cormier (Yvon Guimond) of St. Ignace, two grandsons; Justin Cormier of Moncton and Marc Guimond of St. Ignace, three sisters; Geraldine Daigle (Ovila) of St. Louis, Rosana Drouin (Nelson) of Montreal, Gabrielle Cyr (Norman) of Connecticut, two brothers; Bernard Doiron (Dot) of Pointe du Chêne, Leopold Doiron (Germaine) of St. Louis and one sister-in-law; Exilda Doiron of St. Louis also many nieces and nephews. Gilbert was predeceased by one sister; Florence Babineau (Late Sylvain) and one brother; Omer Doiron.
Gilbert will be resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Thursday at 2:00 pm until time of funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 2nd, 2012 at 4:00 pm, at Saint-Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Ignace. Interment will be at a later date. Donations in Gilbert’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or donor’s choice. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
