Claude Huntley
We, the family of the late Claude Huntley would like to thank all who shared their love and support with us during our recent bereavement. We are truly thankful to family, friends, colleagues and neighbors who comforted us with stories, food, visits, expressions of sympathy, donations in Claude’s memory and to those who travelled to be with us. Thank you to Dr. D Miller, Dr. S MacLeod, Dr. G Bisson, and Dr A Francis, the staff of 4B and the Palliative Care Unit of the CB Regional for their professional care, and to Nancy Whitney Latham DLM for your love, visits and spiritual guidance. To the Trinity United Church family including the UCW, Ken MacKenzie, organist and choir members you were a great support. Thank you to Branch 12 Legion and the honorary pallbearers, James MacInnis, Curdis Karrel, Clark MacDougall, Claude MacLeod, Ken Latham, Charles MacInnis and Reg Bonner. Claude’s grandchildren James (Deanna), Pete, Laura, Nicole, Kristen (Dean) and great grandchildren Morgan, Jimmy and Colby were a delight in his life! Morgan you were a great inspiration as you read the scripture; Pops would have cried but would have been so proud! Special and cherished confidants often come into our lives and Clark MacDougall’s 83 year friendship was one of those! Jan Pledge you were a great friend and support to both Claude and Edie over the years. Claude will be missed by his nephew Claude MacLeod with whom he had a special relationship. Kollin Weatherbee and all the staff at Sydney Memorial, thank you for the care you showed as you guided us through this difficult time.
