Mike passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the age of 53 years, with his family at his side.

He leaves behind his best friend and wife of 24 years Kate, his children Megan (Adam Slager), Thomas and Teresa; his mother Bernice Cullinane, his sister Chris, brother Brian (Lindy) and brother Pat (Liz). His brother Maurice's wife Cindy, his brother-in-law Dave (Carol), sister-in-law Susan (Bob Blonding), brother-in-law Andy (Kelly) and sisters-out-law Karen Scott and Debra Cullinane. Also his nieces and nephews Breanna, Zoe & Erin Cullinane, Sarah (Alex Watt), Riley York, Joshua, Jessica, Colin & Patrick Sorensen, and great nieces Kyla, Emily, and Logan Watt.

He was predeceased by his father Thomas Raymond Cullinane and his brother Maurice James Cullinane.

Special thanks to all of the staff of the RIH ICU, most especially Melanie, Beth, Ashnola, Tess, Margaret and Drs. Hanson and Schmidt.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the R.I.H. Foundation or the Mazankowski Heart Institute at the University of Alberta would be appreciated.

A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2009 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive.
