It is with great sadness that the family of William Chesley Stickland announce his sudden passing at his family residence, in Shoal Brook, NL on Monday, January 30th, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Ivy (nee Warr), his children: Clayton (Darlene) and Priscilla, grandchildren: Shane (Kimberley), Shelly (Brent) Dachuk, Sandy and Blaine; his great-grandchildren: Hana and Dylan as well as many other relatives, family and friends. Father was predeceased by his parents: Diadem and William Stickland. The family will be receiving family and friends from the United Church in Shoal Brook, today, Thursday, February 2nd, 2012, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, February 3rd, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating, burial to follow at the church cemetery in Shoal Brook, NL.
