Ronald Russell Bowden age 79, of Amherst passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Northumberland Hall, Amherst, NS.
Born in Economy, NS he was a son of the late Russell and Winnifred (Priest) Bowden.
Ronald was a veteran of the Korean War. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Ronald is survived by his partner Alma Ramsay, two special angels in his life Jinny and Tenique', the extended Ramsay family as well as nieces Debbie, Norma, Kathy and Donna and nephews Paul and Ryan.
He was predeceased by brothers Wallace, Gerald, Murray and sister Norma in infancy.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
A private family graveside service will take place in the spring in the Miramichi Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Ronnie's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
