JARON Shirley Ann (Duck) Jaron passed away on November 26, 2006. Born August 31, 1928, she grew up in Holmwood and Kamloops, BC, trained as a nurse at Vancouver General Hospital (1951) and has been a resident of Prince George since 1955. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Arthur J. Duck and Martha (Howe) Duck. She is survived by her husband Dr. Peter Jaron (Prince George); her son Greg Jaron (Vancouver) and wife Emma Flower; and daughter Kirsten Jaron (Calgary). Shirley was a friend to everyone. The family wishes to thank the Prince George Hospice Society for their extraordinary work. A tea in her honor will be held in December in Prince George with private interment in June 2007 at the family cemetery in Holmwood, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prince George Rotary Hospice House.
