It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, uncle, and cousin Charles Brian Power, of Toronto, on Feb. 1, 2012 at St. Michael’s Hospital, with family by his side.
Born in New Waterford on Oct., 25, 1946, he was the son of the late Patrick ‘Patty’ and Stella (MacPherson) Power.
Brian is survived by brothers, Cyril (Margie) Power and Johnny (Leona) Power; sisters, Kathleen ‘Babs’ Hareguy and Jean LeMoine.
Brian was predeceased by his parents; his ex wife, Theresa; brothers, Joe, Kevin, Pat, Leo, Finlay and James (in infancy); sisters, TC (Theresa Perfect), Maureen Chiasson and Patricia (in infancy).
A memorial service will be held at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, Toronto on Feb. 8, 2012, at 9 a.m. A private graveside service for Charles Brian will be held at a later date in Cape Breton.
