DANIEL HAROLD MCGRAIL Dan passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on November 29, 2006, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by Noreen his devoted wife of 54 years, son Earl (Debbie) McGrail, daughter Carol (Ron) Lejeune and grandchildren Christina (Rick) of White Rock and Michael of Vancouver. Dan was born in Montreal in 1931 and moved to Kamloops with his family in 1972. After 31 years of work with CNR he retired in 1986 as a locomotive engineer. One of the highlights of his retirement years was the time spent travelling across the continent with Noreen in their motorhome. The family would like to extend special thanks to Doctors Mabee, Leia-Stephen, Krause, Treissman; the staff at the RIH Cancer Clinic, the Marjorie Willoughby Hospice staff and Home Care nurses for their support and compassionate care. Flowers gratefully declined, donations in Dan's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. At Dan's request, a private family service will be held.
