MARGARET BERYL OAKEY (nee Switzer) April 17, 1922 - November 7, 2006 The Switzer family moved to Blue River in 1929. At age 19 Margaret began a teaching career in rural BC towns, returning to Blue River in 1951 to raise a family and continue teaching until 1966 before moving to Quesnel. She taught another 16 years in Quesnel and retired to the Shuswap Lake in Anglemont. She was predeceased by husband Shirley in 1999, and is survived by her daughters; Lucille, Lois and Barbara (Dave) and grandchildren; Jennifer, Melissa and Terran. There will be a service to celebrate her life at 5847 Medusa, Sechelt on December 9, 2006 at 2:00 P.M.
