STODDARD, Wayne Marion, 56, Port Saxon passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Clyde River with his family and friends by his side. Born on May 27, 1955, he was a son of Frances (Hogg) Stoddard, Port Clyde and the late Herbert Stoddard. Wayne was a former Fire Chief of Port Clyde, owned Wayne’s Irving for 11 years, Car Salesman for over 20 years and Member of the Nova Scotia Bluegrass Association. Wayne was a Jack of all Trades. He traveled around the Maritimes with his one man band and made CD’s and enjoyed visiting peoples’ homes to play his music. Wayne will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Survived by his wife, the former Pamela Ross; sons, Darren (Josie), Barrington Passage, Ricky (Abbey), Yarmouth; daughters, Amanda Stoddard, Thomasville, Joyann Smith (Rob), Port Saxon; brothers, Herbie (Joe), Port Clyde, Henry (Marlene), Clyde River; sisters, Donna (Paul) Locke, Carolyn (Brian) Hines, Clyde River, Christine (Gregory) Goreham, Port Clyde; one step grandson, Spencer; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service was held on Thursday, February 2 from H. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington with Pastor Cindy Dunnett officiating. Interment was in the Port Clyde Cemetery, Port Clyde. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Association of Nova Scotia or to a charity of your choice.
