In Loving Memory of George Prehara George Prehara died peacefully at 12:55 a.m., December 4, 2006 at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home in Kamloops. George was born in Coalhurst, Alberta on October 2, 1926, and has resided in Kamloops for approximately 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife Bea (Berit) Prehara; his children John, Sandra, and Susan of Vancouver, and Joan (Allan) Crossfield of Metchosin; his brother Paul Prehara of Kamloops; his nephews and nieces David (Terry) Prehara and Michael Prehara (Sue Threlkeld) of Kamloops, Mark (Gail) Saunders of Chemainus, Debbie (Dave) Miller of Campbell River, and their families. Also survived by his stepchildren Trevor Goward of Clearwater, Mel Goward of Whistler, Lea Goward (Peter Bragg) of Victoria, Barbara Robson of Courtenay, and their families. Predeceased by his sister Christine Schmidt in 1987. For their help and support, we thank all our family and friends, and neighbors Carolyn and Ken.
