CUMBEN, Clyde Robert, M.B.– Passed suddenly away at the Dialysis Unit of The Waterford Hospital, on February 2, 2012, Clyde Cumben, aged 57 years. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Violet Cumben, brother Cecil Cumben, brothers-in-law Maxwell Pittman Jr., and Danny Pittman. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 38 years, Linda (nee Pittman); children: Michael (Stephanie), Beverley (Stephen), and Steven (Jennifer); two precious granddaughters: Makaily and Makenna Cumben (Halifax, N.S.); parents-in-law: Maxwell and Velma Pittman; sisters-in-law: Gwen Pittman, Dana Dalton-Pittman and Lucy Cumben; faithful canine companion— “Pop’s boy” Moo; as well as a large circle of family and friends. A special thank-you to nurses and staff of the Dialysis Unit at The Waterford Hospital. By request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
