MASON, Grace– 1924-2012. Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Nursing Home, Carbonear, Mrs. Grace Mason (nee Clarke) of Spaniards Bay (formerly of Otterbury), aged 87 years. Predeceased by parents Norman and Bertha Clarke (nee Percy), husband Arthur Roland Mason, sisters Ethel (Clifton) Anthony, Rita (George) Anthony; brother Eric (Doris) Clarke, brother-in-law Gordon Mitchell. Leaving to mourn daughters: Janet (Peter) Pardy, Linda (Bern) Quinlan; sisters: Ruth Mitchell, Bertha (William) Dawe; brother Norman (Bernice) Clarke; six grandchildren, a large number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation: Sunday: 2 - 5 p.m., 7 - 9 p.m., Monday, 10 - 12 Noon. Funeral service will take place from The Anglican Parish of the Resurrection, South River on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Clarke’s Beach. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lung Association or a charity of one’s choice.
