On Monday, December 11, 2006 Cicely (Becker) Joynson of Kamloops passed away at the age of 96 years. Born in London, England on October 2, 1910, she came to Canada as a "war bride". Cicely resided in Westwold for 22 years, prior to moving to Vancouver. Since May 2006, Cicely has made her home in Kamloops. She is survived by her daughter Judith (Nikola) Perisa, her granddaughter Nicole (Sonny) Rugolo and great grandchildren Joshua and Tea all of Kamloops. At her personal request, no formal service will be held.
