KEATING, M. PATRICIA "PATSY" - 1941-2012 - MIRAMICHI - M. Patricia "Patsy" Keating passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness (cancer). Patsy was a daughter of the late Ryan and Beatrice (McMahon) Redmond. She was an RN by profession, retiring from Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home in 1997. She was blessed with a wonderful singing voice with an "Irish lilt" that allowed her to be one of the best in singing "Lady of Knock", and many other favorites from Eire. Patsy was a dedicated member of Saint Michael's Choir for over 35 years. She is survived by her husband, Bernie, daughters Dr. Paula Keating (Greg Savoy), Andrea (Jason Leach), Erin Seagris (Bill), and son Greg (Pam), and by her sister Ann Henry (Pat). She was predeceased by infant daughter Debbie. Surviving also are her grandchildren Cody, Jessica, Andrew, Jared, Alexandra, Nicole, Andrea, Jackson and Ryan. "Gram" loved them dearly, a and they loved Gram.
Resting at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi, NB, Tuesday, February 7, 2:00 to 4:00, 7:00 to 9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Basilica Wednesday, February 8 at 11:00 am.
