VALENTINO, HENRY - The death of Henry Lawrence Valentino of Minto occurred Sunday, February 5th, 2012 at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home. Born June 20th, 1924, in Minto, he was the son of the late John and Domenica (Cherbeuni) Valentino. Henry is survived by two children, his son, Billy Valentino (Ann Marie) of Minto and his daughter, Nora Valentino of Fredericton; one granddaughter, Shelley (Jason); two great grandsons, Hunter and Tyler; a brother, Ferdinand Valentino (Jean Marie) of Sypher Cove; a sister, Nora Valentino of Ottawa, ON; a special friend, Pauline Fulton as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to both parents, he was predeceased by two sons, Michael and Lorenzo; a brother, Achille and sister-in-law, Yolanda.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto 327-3490) with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Minto. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget's Catholic Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Arthritis Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Saint Bridget's Cemetery or the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family. www.hoggfunerals.ca
