DALE, DOROTHY - After a brief illness, the death of Dorothy Irene (Machum) Dale, age 69, wife of the late Kenneth E. Dale, of Queenstown, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB, on February 3, 2012. She was born on April 15, 1942, in Saint John, the daughter of the late Walter and Elva (Hamilton) Machum. Dorothy is survived by daughters Kimberley and Rick Norwood of Jemseg, and Kelly and Shawn Coolen of Halifax; sons Dwane and Veronica of Halifax, and Darren and Tabatha of Halifax; seven grandchildren; sister-in-law Vivian Smith; brothers-in-law Lloyd and Glendon Dale; several cousins.
She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Monday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service conducted by Rev. Bob Johnson, assisted by Rev. Dan Walton will be held at 11:00 am., Tuesday, February 7, 2012, from the Queenstown Baptist Church, Queenstown, NB. Family and friends are invited to a reception at the Queenstown LOL Hall following the service. Interment will take place in Central Hampstead Cemetery in the spring.
