CALDER, ROBERT "BOB" G. - The death of Robert "Bob" G. Calder, husband of Barbara (Hynes) Calder occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 4th, 2012. Born in St. John's, NFLD the son of the late Robert and Flo (Moss) Calder. Bob was a devoted family man and loved his wife Barb of 43 years, his children and grandchildren. He spent his career working as a mechanic in various locations including his own business in Oromocto. Bob was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. He is survived by his wife Barb, his daughter Jennifer Motty of Oromocto, NB, one son, Nicholas Calder (Nicki Rouleau) of Kingston, ON, two sisters, Jean Calder (Terry Embleton) of Fredericton, NB, Dorothy Gaudet (Wiley) of St. George, NB, and one brother, Ricky Calder; four grandchildren, Josh Hill, Brianna and Evan Motty and Hallie Rose Rouleau; one brother-in-law, Leo Hynes (Dawn) of Oromocto, NB, and a longtime very special friend, Mike Ryer (Ann) of Oromocto, NB and his special dog, Sasha. He was predeceased by his parents and one son, Gregory Ross Calder.
The family will receive visitors at the Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A memorial service will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 9th, 2012 at 12 noon with Rev. Mary Anne Langmaid officiating.
