IVAN GODARD May 17, 1925 - Dec 13, 2006 Ivan passed away at the age of 81 years, he was born in Debden, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice (October 15, 1992) and a sister Solange and three brothers, Marcel of Port Alberni, Gerard of Ft. St. James and Roger of Surrey. He leaves to mourn his passing Marci (Del) of Ft. St. James, Robert (Loraine) of Merritt, Terry (Glen) of Geraldton, Australia and Larry of Kamloops; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; his brother Claude (Marlene) of Nanaimo, nephew Philip (Vicky) of Hafford, Saskatchewan, cousin Arthur (Vivian) of Kamloops. Ivan and Alice were married in Hafford, Saskatchewan on August 15, 1950. They moved to Port Alberni for work and then to Kamloops in 1952. Ivan, and his partner, Mickey Yokome worked together in construction for 10 years and then he worked for School District #24 until his retirement in 1985. He will be sadly missed by friends and family. Prayers will be recited at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Friday, December 15, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. The Reverend Father Peter Nguyen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
