In Loving Memory of Jana Marie Deacon 1962 - 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jana Deacon on December 14, 2006. Jana passed away peacefully at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home with her family by her side. Jana is survived by her loving husband and soul mate Al, sons; Kale and Gage, daughters; Karlee and Hunter. She is also survived her father Bob (Diane) McAlpine and mother Joan (Rene) Bourget, father in law, mother in law Joe (Jean) Deacon and sister in law Shannon Deacon. Jana will always be remembered as a humble woman with her family being the most important part of her life. She was a very proud mom and kept quite involved with her families activities such as 4H, rodeos, soccer, lacrosse, hockey and at St. Annes. A very special place for Jana was her home, and being with friends and family throughout the summer months on the South Thompson River. Her love of all animals especially horses made her at home on horseback either on her own acreage or riding for local ranches, she was always accompanied by her special dog Maggie. The family wish to thank Dr. T. Simpson, all of the caring and compassionate staff at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home for all their support, Dr. V. Krause and the staff of the Cancer Clinic. A Celebration of Jana's life will be held at the Foresters Convention Centre, 1250 Rogers Way at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 21, 2006.
