Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on Sunday, February 5th, 2012. Sophie Williams aged 92 years. Predeceased by husband Michael; son Dennis; infant children John and Elizabeth; sisters Sadie and Ethel; brothers Clarence, Ted, Jack and Clyde. Leaving to mourn son Jim; daughters-in-law Jeanette and Sadie, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Sophie was also a long time employee of F.W. Woolworth. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, February 6th and Tuesday, February 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, February 8th at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Sophie’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
