The death occurred peacefully at the Colville Manor in Souris, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 4, 2012, of Margaret Sylvia Doiron of Souris in her 91st year.
Dear mother of Winnifred Doiron, grandmother of Cynthia and Cheryl Paynter and great-grandmother of Cassandra Paynter, also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law Clara and Lillian.
Predeceased by her parents: Phillip and Georgina Carter and siblings: Garfield, William, Thomas, Kenneth, Bernard, Regina Peters, Genevieve (Jimmy) Stubbert, Rita and Pearl.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Monday, February 6, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Tuesday morning to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Souris for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the St. Alexis Cemetery in Rollo Bay.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The MacIntyre House or the Legion Monument Fund.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are asked to attend a Legion service at the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:45 p.m.
