WILLIAM JAMES MIDDLETON With deep sorrow we announce that William James Middleton passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 14, 2006. William was born in Vancouver, BC on March 26, 1969. He grew up in Orangeville, Ontario and moved to Calgary, Alberta to attend university. Although he battled with schizophrenia, he was able to obtain his Bachelor of Arts in English through Athabaska University. A highly intelligent, sensitive, kind and decent man; he will be remembered by his friends at Cornerhouse in Kamloops, BC, in New Zealand and across Canada. He is survived by his mother, Doris Jackman of Vernon, BC, his sister, Barbara Middleton-Smith, his nephews Max Smith and Hart Smith of Salmon Arm, BC, his father, John William Middleton of Richmond, BC, his brother, Stephen Morin of Maple Ridge and sister, Rochelle Goodsir of Victoria, and remaining family and friends. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 20th at 2:00 pm at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive, Kamloops. Phone (250) 554-2577. Instead of flowers, donations can be made to BC Schizophrenia Society.
