Passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 5th, 2012, Eric Beck while surrounded by his loving family at the age of 78 years. Left with fond memories: his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Frances; seven children: Terry, Jane DuHart (Dan), Wilson, Beverly, Brian (Carolyn), Stephen (Jennifer) and Gary (Heather); 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren: sister: Evelyn (Cec) Miles; brother: Robert (Sylvia) Beck; brother-in-law, Frank (Shirley) Morgan and sisters-in-law: Velma Coombs and Barbara King; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to say a special Thank You to the Palliative Care staff at Western Memorial Hospital and to the Coleman family for their continued support during our father’s illness. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 8th at 2:00 p.m. from the First Pentecostal Church, Premier Drive, Pastor Velmer Bessey officiating followed by the Interment at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, although flowers are beautiful, they are declined due to family allergies. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
