At the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O’Leary on Thursday, December 3, 2009, of Wesley Francis MacArthur of Glenwood, aged 74, beloved husband of Helen (Dumville) MacArthur. Born at Glenwood on July 21, 1935, son of the late John and Hazel (Currie) MacArthur. Loving Father of Owen (Joan); Hazel (Gordon) Mullins; David (Marcella), and Ivan (Nicole) all of O’Leary. Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Son-in-law of Jean Dumville, Charlottetown. Brother of Clayton, Grande Prairie, AB. Nephew of Edith (Steve) Murphy, Alberton; Jean ( Marvin) Green, Ottawa, ON.; Vera Campbell, Saint John N.B.; and Wesley (Olive) Currie, Summerside. Brother-in-law of Junior (Isabel) Dumville, Theo (Lana) Dumville, Wilbert (Helen) Dumville, Kenny (Pat) Dumville, Gerald Dumville, Mary (Tim) Ellis, Ernie (Patsy) Dumville, Orin (Maxine) Dumville, Basil (Margaret) Dumville, Randy (Joanne) Dumville, and James McKie. Predeceased by his brother Victor MacArthur, sisters Sandra Currie, Barb McKie; stepmother Mirian MacArthur, and grandson Owen John MacArthur. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Glenwood United Church Cemetery.
