STELLARTON – Cecil Leroy Tucker, 86 of Acadia Avenue, Stellarton, formerly of New Brunswick, died December 3, 2009 at his home.
Born in North Head, Grand Manan, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Cecil Fenton and Harriett (Matthews) Tucker.
Cecil was a resident of Stellarton for the past two years or so, having previously resided in New Brunswick. He worked as a commercial fisherman and other various trades. Cecil served in the Air Force in his younger years and was the last surviving member of his family.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jean (McCullough), Stellarton; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers: Frank, Gilbert and Melvin; and a sister, Mildred.
Cremation to take place. No visitation or service at the request of the family. A graveside committal service will be held in North Head, Grand Manan, New Brunswick at a later date.
Donations in memory of Cecil may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
