It is with great sadness that the family of Karl Tucker announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on February 8, 2012 at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Violet of 55 years, sons: Danny, Wade (Susan Pleasance), Paul (Melinda Murrin); brothers: Wilfred (Grace), Watson (Mary), Peter, sisters: Roberta (John) Stevens, Hazel (Albert) Peach, Ruby Synard, Amy Rondorf and Dorothy Tucker. He will also be missed by his in-laws: William Evans, Alfred and Francis Evans, Nellie Taylor, Lenora Warren, Debbie Wheeler and Faye & Cecil Hiscock; grandchildren Sheldon, Adam, Patrick, Cindy, Nicholas, Ryan, Haley, Shane and Noah. Karl was happy to welcome his first great-grandchild Lacey Danielle recently to the family. Karl was born in St. Anthony. He was a proud member of the Salvation Army Church in Pasadena. He is predeceased by his parents: James and Susan (Coates) Tucker, son David, brothers: Steven, James and sister Ethelyn. Funeral Service will take place on February 11, 2012 at the Salvation Army Church, 12 Third Avenue, Pasadena at 11 a.m. with Captain Darlene Burt officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
