Passed peacefully away at Presentation Motherhouse, St. John’s, on Thursday, February 9, 2012, Sister Mary Tarcisia, daughter of Richard and Helena (Kennedy) Fewer, aged 92 years. Predeceased by her sisters Dorothy and Anne (John) Sullivan, her brothers Richard and James, nephews John and Teddy. Left to mourn: the Presentation Sisters; her nephew-in-law Frank Whelan (Marie Anne – deceased); her sisters: Alice (Al deceased) Iadisemia, Genevieve (Tom deceased) Sevier; her brothers: Hubert (Laura), Edmund (Verna deceased), Ronald (Iris deceased) and Lawrence (Irene) and their families; her devoted nephews, nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, other relatives and friends. The wake will be held at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John’s. Visiting hours are on Saturday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00; and 7:00 - 9:00. Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Monday, February 13 at 9:30 a.m. with interment at Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
