The family of Louisa Hiscock sadly announces her death on January 31, 2012 in Toronto, Ontario. Louisa was the eldest child born to Gordon and Dora Hiscock of Winterton, Newfoundland. In the 1950’s Louisa moved to Toronto and began work at Dominion grocery stores, retiring in 1982 after 25 years of service. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Wilson, sisters: Kathleen Hiscock, Bertha Pinhorn, Marie Budgell and Caroline Freeman. Survived by brother Leonard; sister-in-law Kathlee of Toronto, and brother-in-law George Freeman of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Left to mourn are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews in Toronto and Newfoundland. Funeral services were held on Monday, February 6th in Toronto. Interment will be held on Saturday, February 11th at 11:00 at The Salvation Army Cemetery.
