On Wednesday, December 20, 2006, Dr. Tad Stuart Nabata passed away peacefully at the age of 41 years. Tad was born in Kamloops on August 19, 1965. He attended and graduated from Kamloops Senior Secondary, where he met the love of his life, Chris. They were married in 1988. In 1990, he graduated from the University of B.C. School of Dentistry. He practiced in Barriere until 1993, when he opened his practice in Kamloops. Family, including his dog Jervis were very important to him. Tad is survived by his loving wife Chris and their children: son Scott, age 11, daughter Lyndsey, age 13; his dad Nobby of Kamloops; his sister Elaine (Malcolm) Moore of Toronto; his brothers Wes of Prince George, Glenn of North Vancouver and Casey of Edmonton; nieces Emily, Sara and Isabel Moore, Kylie Nabata and Miko (Jason) Miller; sister in law Adelle Rennie of North Vancouver. Tad also leaves to cherish his memory, his mother & father in law Noel and Mabs Cumming of Kamloops, brothers in law Gordon (Susan) of Kamloops, Doug (Angie) of Salmon Arm; nieces and nephews Teghan and Jensen, Bryant and Isobel, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Tad was predeceased by his mother Kay in 1984. A "Really" informal Celebration of Tad's life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Coast Canadian Inn, 339 St. Paul Street.
