On Thursday, December 21, 2006 Mrs. Shirley Ann Critchlow passed away at the age of 61 years. She leaves her husband of 34 years, George of Kamloops; her sister in Red Deer, her brother in Edmonton, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Nick, mother Dora, brother John Klaschinsky and a sister Evelyn Buldock. Shirley was born in Vermillion, Alberta on April 4, 1945. She was a member of the Kamloops Blazer Booster Club for over 11 years, where she volunteered for many duties. She also was a member of the Valleyview Overlanders Lions Club, also a volunteer for over 2 years, a member of the Glenfair Senior Citizen Club for the last 5 years, where she resided. She had many friends there. Prayers and a reception will be held at the Glenfair Community Hall at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2006. Many thanks to Dr. Tom Eccleston and the Kamloops Hospice Home staff for all their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 685 Victoria Street, Kamloops, BC V2C 2B3 in memory of Shirley would be appreciated.
