Florence Nightengale Wideman 1911 - 2006 Florence (Nita) passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Oakside Manor in Salmon Arm, at the age of 95. Nita is survived by her son Glen (Sandra), daughter Iris (Horst) and son Dwight (Monique), six grandchildren: Russell, Cari, Leslie, Monica, Edward and Darcy. Six great grandchildren: Carol, Ben, Manny, Amira, Ainsley and Paul. She is also survived by one sister Thelma Carlson of Edson, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband Emerson in 1981 and by infant daughter Donna; her brothers Huey, Dale, Cole, sisters Vera, Josephine and Inza. Nita was a resident of Sorrento for 61 years until the last 6 months where she resided at Oakside Manor. Mom was an excellent cook and very hospitable. She loved her God, her family and all God's pretty things. There will be a graveside service, Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Notch Hill Cemetery.
