Passed in: Canada

VERA SEMINOFF NOVEMBER 13, 1923 - DECEMBER 23, 2006 On Saturday, December 23, 2006 after a day of visiting with family; Vera passed away at Royal Inland Hospital at the age of 83. Vera was born in Pelley, Saskatchewan and moved to Grand Forks in 1939. It is in Grand Forks where she met and married her beloved husband Fred in 1941. After starting a family Vera and Fred moved to Kamloops in 1950. Vera was predeceased by her husband Fred (2003) and sons Michael (1967) and Robert. Vera will be greatly missed, but remains in the thoughts and hearts of those she has left behind: her children; Jim (Ellen), Sherry (Rod) and Richard (Lynda); her grandchildren Anne, Tammy, Lorna, Patty, Tanis, Danny, Dayna and Jacob; great grandchildren Erin, Heather, Robert and Nicole. Vera leaves behind one brother Mike of Grand Forks and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Vera is remembered by her family for the love she had for them - especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family will forever have treasured mementos of the love she had for them in the crocheting, knitting, quilts, crafts and especially the dolls and bears that she fondly created just for them. Vera was a life member of The North Kamloops Royal Purple and a Past Honoured Royal Lady. Vera worked for many years at Floritto's Egg Processing Plant and at the Hospitality Inn. However, her happiest times were those spent taking care of her family. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff on 5 North at Royal Inland Hospital and to her family Physician Dr. Barnard. A celebration of Vera's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers her family would appreciate donations to a charity of ones choice in Vera's name. Kamloops Funeral Home 554-2577
