Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2012 of Myrtle May Ruby MacLeod (nee Wood) of Charlottetown and formerly of Orwell and Uigg, aged 97 years.
Mother of Phyllis Boswell (Harvard), Kamloops, B.C.; Ruby MacLeod, Kamloops; Ray (Joyce), Stratford; and Vernon of Charlottetown. Grandmother of Lori-Anne, Scott and Gordon Boswell, B.C.; Jeffrey, Aaron, Mark and Jason MacLeod, Oshawa; Pam (Steve Collette), Pownal; and Brent MacLeod, Stratford. Survived by 10 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Doris Wood. Predeceased by her husband Gordon (1988) and son Doug (1988), sister Vivian MacLellan (Johnnie) and brother Ivan Wood.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visiting hours Friday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from First Baptist Church. Interment later in Uigg Cemetery.
