SHIRLEY BARDO 1934 - 2007 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Shirley Fay Bardo at Royal Inland Hospital on January 12, 2007 at the age of 72, following a brief illness. She will be forever missed by her husband Gerry and her daughters, Cathy (Roger) Cloutier of Salmon Arm and Jean (Delbert) Finlay of Kamloops. Also, her very special grandchildren, Mitchell and Lance Finlay and Kimberlee and Steven Cloutier, who were the light of her life. Also survived by her brothers Ron (Nita) Wiltse of Port Alberni, Les (Delores) Wiltse of Penticton, her sisters Pat Carter of Walterboro, South Carolina, Linda (Wayne) Wiltse of Scotch Creek, and many other family members. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Mabel Wiltse, sisters Joan Brochu and Trudy Stallard and her brother Gary. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Kamloops Funeral Home. A celebration of mom's life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers it would be greatly appreciated and mom's wish for donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 111-450 Lansdowne Street, Kamloops, B.C., V2C 1Y3 in Shirley's memory. Special heartfelt thanks to the Salmon Arm paramedics, the wonderful staff at Shuswap Optical who gave Mom and Dad such quick care and attention. Also the emergency room staff at Shuswap Lake Hospital in Salmon Arm. Special thanks to the Trauma Unit at Royal Inland Hospital, the ICU staff including mom's wonderful nurses Terry and Deanne whose gentleness and kindness will never be forgotten. Very special thanks to our friend Dr. Russ Mosewich for his great compassion towards Mom and our family. We're eternally grateful to him. Mom lived her life to the fullest and we were all so proud of her when she fought and beat her breast cancer in 2006.
