DALE ROBINSON Born: June 28, 1954 Passed Away: January 16, 2007 After a long courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her 2 sons Todd - Jan. 5, 1981, Robert - Nov. 16, 2005. Left to mourn her passing is her husband and soul-mate of 35 years, Sam, her daughter Trina, son-in-law Pat, her sister Flora and husband Dan, her brother Karl and his wife Kris, her close and dear sister-in-law Fern, Dale's daughter Lisa, her second daughter Deanna and her kids Danica and Taylor, her closest friends Bonnie Daily, Cindy Matter, Paula, Angela Morice, Lea and Darin Le maire and Wendy and Teresa Canon. Mom was born in Vancouver, B.C., raised in Spences Bridge, B.C. by Thor and May Ellingson. Mom attended the Lytton High School. Later in 1972 she met her husband in Cache Creek, they later moved to Kamloops and started a family. She worked as a waitress at the Highlander Restaurant for 8 years before starting as a nurse's aid at Overlander for 20 years. She loved her job and patients dearly. She was very kind and giving to everyone around her. She went out of her way to help anyone and everyone. Her kids were her greatest gift in life. She loved spending time with her kids. She was Aunty Dale to many children. Besides time with her family, she loved to play bingo with her bingo friends. A special thanks to Dr. Fike, Dr. Krause, our home nurse Janet, and the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice staff. A celebration of Dale's Life will be held at Kamloops Funeral Home, Saturday, January 20th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Mary Widmer officiating. Reception to follow Service.
