BROWN, GEORGE LEWIS - We sadly announce the passing of George, born in Lower Queensbury, NB, at the age of 77 at Fairhaven Nursing Home in Peterborough, Ontario on February 12, 2012. George is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce (Goodine) Brown; his children Jeffrey (Brenda), Maureen (Mike), Erin Bryan (Barry) and Amy Davy (Lee); his grandchildren Greg, Jackie (Jesse), Lorne, Samantha, Tom (Jen), Chris, Julie, Connor, Paige; a sister Joyce Hudson; brother-in-law of Bernice Brown, Edward Goodine (Polly), Roy Goodine (Priscilla), Mary Moffatt (Dwight), Hattie Stickles (John), Pat Goodine (Lisa), and Mike Goodine (Julie). George was predeceased by his parents, Lorne and Ruby (Jordan) Brown; a granddaughter Crystal Bryan; brothers Ernest, Neill and Ralph; sister-in-laws Eva Brown and Leola Brown and brothers-in-laws Vernon Hudson, Albert Goodine and Kenneth Goodine. George will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in New Brunswick.
A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Highland Park Visitation and Reception Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough, Ontario on Friday, February 17 at 2:00pm (www.highlandpark-vrc.com).
