Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Thursday, December 3, 2009, Marie Josephine Harvey of St. John’s, age 78 years. Predeceased by her father John; mother Katherine; sisters Mary, Dorothy, Marg, Kay; brothers Peter and Cyril. Left with fond and loving memories her sister Gertrude (George); brothers Tom, Jack (Geraldine); special niece Mandy Marrai (Frank); her club friends and many other nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Cremation has taken place at Marie’s request. No visitation. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from St. Pius X Church at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation.
