Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on December 4, 2009, Mrs. (Violet) Irene Lidstone of Mount Pearl, aged 80 years. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Drucilla (nee Norris) Green; husband (Pastor) Robert Lidstone; sisters: Nita (Gordon) Morris, Josephine (Oswald) Adams. Leaving with precious memories her daughter Debbie (Barry) Richards; sons: Robert, David (Tina) and Darryl (Shelley); grandchildren: Danny (Stephanie), Jonathan, Nathaniel, Chloe, Benjamin and Bethany; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl, with visitation on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., on Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. and then on Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to be held from Park Avenue Pentecostal Church, Mount Pearl on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
