We, the family of the late Catherine (Cato) Clarke wish to express our sincere thanks to all for the kindness shown during our sad loss. To those who visited, phoned, sent food, flowers, e-mails, memorial donations and sympathy cards, we are deeply appreciative. Thank you to Dr. Kent Cadegan for the wonderful care given to Mom over the years and during her stay in hospital; also Dr. Ann-Francis D’Intino and palliative care staff, Bill MacPherson and nursing staff 3rd floor Glace Bay General Hospital; to all home care workers especially Barb Butts who became a dear friend of Mom’s. To Rev. Vernon Reid, St. Mary’s Anglican Church, we thank you for your comforting services and also to organist Aileen Butler. To granddaughter Brittany Morrison who wrote a poem about her Nan. Mom would have been so proud, as we all were. Thank you to Denise Clarke, daughter-in-law and Breanna Clarke, granddaughter for the readings. Pallbearers were sons Teddy, Eldon, Shum and brothers Darcy and Blayne Melnick and grandson Fred Jamieson Jr. A special thank you to Rita Tompkins and McGillivray Funeral Home staff for your compassion and professionalism. To neighbors and friends in Table Head, we will forever remember your messages of support and your kindheartedness.
