LeBlanc, Stanislas (Stanley) Levi . -95 Truro, passed away on February 10, 2012 at the Colchester Regional Hospital.
Stan was a long time community organizer, advocate, promoter, developer and entrepreneur. He was involved in projects that has created thousands of jobs in the areas of Commercial Real- Estate, Shopping Centers, Hotels, and Tourism related ventures some of which include the following: 1935 -Wedgeport, NS Wedgeport,International Tuna Tournament , 1937 - Wedgeport Credit Union - Wedgeport, NS, - 1946 had the first vision for developing Ski Wentworth, 1950's Dartmouth Penhorn Mall Dartmouth NS and Organized original Fundy Trail Mall in Truro.

Born on June 16, 1916 in Wedgeport, N.S., he was the son of Adolph and Mary (Muise) LeBlanc. He is survived by brothers Alcide LeBlanc, Yarmouth and Eldric (Ernie) LeBlanc, Ottawa and sister Clerise Smith, Halifax as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by brother Clarence LeBlanc, and sisters Marydale LeBlanc and Lillian LeBlanc.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Doctors and staff of the 4th floor at the Colchester Regional Hospital for the wonderful care they gave Stan in his last days. He was especially fond of the nursing staff.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Colchester Community Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at the Immaculate Conception Church on February 23, 11.00am with Father Francesco Piris officiating. Interment will be at the Wedgeport Church Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church or a charity of your choosing. Family flowers only, please.
