It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Doris Blanche Hounsell (nee Goodyear) age 84 years of Lumsden on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Brookfield Hospital. Doris is predeceased by her husband Carman; parents Sadie and Thomas Goodyear; sister Phyllis Templeman and brother-in-law William Walsh. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons Cecil Hounsell(Bernadette) of Labrador city and Warren Hounsell (Cassie) of Valleyfield; daughters Sylvia Luscombe (Harold) of Loon Bay and Gloria Spurrell (Lester) of Lumsden; brother Douglas Goodyear (Nellie) of Lumsden; sister Laura Walsh of Bay Roberts; brothers-in-law Bertram Hounsell of Pound Cove and Wesley Templeman of Gander; grandchildren Terry Luscombe, Valerie Oxford (Todd), Geoffrey Luscombe, Jason Spurrell (Deanne), Scott Hounsell (Vadya), Robin Luscombe (Paula), Lynne Hounsell (John), Jamie Hounsell (Deanne), Jolene Spurrell and Gloria-Lynn Caza (Stephan); 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, February 20, 2012 with Reverend Lorne Bungay and Reverend Roberta Vincent-Bungay officiating.
