Rockwell, Laurie Douglas – 47, of Waterville; passed away suddenly on February 12, 2012 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick; he was a son of the late Lawrence and Marjorie (Fredericks). Laurie was a building supply sales representative and most recently was employed with Taiga Building Supplies. He was an avid snowmobiler and loved the outdoors. Laurie absolutely adored his wife and children and will be missed by all his family. He is survived by his wife, Michelle (Stymest); son Jordan; daughter Chloe, both at home; brother, Bob (Sharon), Chipman Brook; sisters, Beverly (Bill) Moseley, Aylesford; Paulette (Larry) Anderson, Waterville; Linda Sanford, Halifax; Pat (Mike) Barnes, Kingston; Susan (Roger) Lutz, Cambridge; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 14 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick from where a Funeral Service took place on Wednesday, February 15 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Bigelow officiating. Family flowers only; donations in Laurie’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
