The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, June 28, 2008, of Olga (MacLean) MacArthur of Andrews Lodge, Summerside, in her 99th year. Born in Arlington, Lot 14, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Ella (Phillips) MacLean. Survived by her children Roger (Margaret), Charlottetown; Warren (Mary), London, Ont.; Margaret (Lloyd) MacEachern, Baddeck, N.S.; Catherine (Robert) Fletcher, Summerside; daughter-in-law Jeri MacArthur, Acton, Ont.; grandchildren Carl (Debbie) MacArthur, Carman (Donna) MacArthur; Shelley (Ian) Gallant, Sherwyn (Nancy) MacArthur, Gregory (Joanne) MacArthur, Jacqueline (Scott) Bryan, Mark (Jennett) MacEachern, Kent MacEachern, Kevin (Wendy) Fletcher, Beth (Wally) Appleton, Jason MacArthur and Sarah (James) Milligan; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Dorothy MacLean, Summerside; Kathleen MacLean, Cole Harbour, N.S.; and by numerous special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Maynard MacArthur; son Shelton; granddaughter Cindy Fletcher; brothers Eldon, Alvin, Carl, Russell, Horace and Roland MacLean; and by a sister Helen Maynard. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to the Lot 14 United Church, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Lot 14 United Church Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
