LAWRENCE, Wilfred — 95, passed away peacefully with family by his side on February 16, 2012 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Loretta (nee McDonald) (1994). Loving father of Gary Lawrence, Margaret Kilby (Acton), Donald Lawrence and Mary Lynn Baillargeon (Michael). Grampy to Crystal and Ian Lawrence, Chris and Jenny Baillargeon, David, Tom and Mary Kilby. Survived by sister-in-law Roberta Lawrence of Falmouth, N.S. Wilfred retired from the Windsor Utilities Commission after many years of service. Also, Wilfred was a veteran of the Second World War, having served with the R.C.A.F. as a Spitfire pilot. Visiting was held at Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave. Windsor, Ontario 519-253-5225) on Friday, February 17 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 pm. Visiting continued at Corpus Christi Church on Saturday, February 18 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Resurrection at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
