PERLEY, T. HUGHENA - T. Hughena Perley (Barrett) on February 22, 2012. Predeceased by her husband, Reginald E. Perley of McAdam and New River Beach. Mum to Nancy (Gary) Golding, Ruby Justason, Brenda MacKay, Linda Nason and Donna (Geordie) Doon, Nannie Hughena to Julie (Steven) Golding-Page, Sarah Justason (Pat McLaughlan), Shawn (Richard) Carhart, Erin (Derek) Muir, Susan Nason, Jonathan (Julie) Nason, Amy (Nick) Valcour, Jordan (Janelle) Nason, Michael Doon and Thomas Doon, O’Nannie to Jack and Maggie McLaughlan and Anastasia Golding-Page, sister to Colin (Joyce) Barrett and Rhona (Paul) Hooper. Predeceased by parents, Hazen and Margaret Barrett, three brothers, three sisters, and son in law, Chris Nason. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Fondly remembered as the Director of Nursing at McLean Memorial Hospital/Waukelhegan Manor, McAdam. Upon retirement to New River Beach, Hughena became an active member of the Pocologan Baptist Church, being involved as a Choir member, Friendly Circle member and organist/pianist. Her source of joy and happiness came from her faith and family. “Serving God, loving each other.”
Resting at the Pocologan Baptist Church, Pocologan, NB on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. The service will be held from the Pennfield Baptist Church, Pennfield NB on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating. In Hughena’s memory, donations to the Pocologan Baptist Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
