Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving daughters Lucy Marie Power (nee Hayward), aged 75 years. Predeceased by husband John (Jack) Power, granddaughter Sarah Catherine Martin, sons-in-law: Keith Martin and Jim Boone and all of her brother and sisters. Leaving to mourn with aching hearts are her daughters: Betty Martin (Paddy Horlick), Carol Boone, Linda Ford. Grandchildren: Mandy, Lisa Cody (Glen) of Halifax and Erin Martin (Ryan Hynes), Jeremy Boone (Alexis Mercer) and Alex Boone, Joey and Jack Ford of Ottawa, great-grandchildren: Devon Martin, Sarah Cody, Kyle and Keith Martin and lifelong friends Genevieve Hayward and Mary Costello and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Cauls Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday Dec. 8th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from Caul’s Chapel. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Happy Tree.
