Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, December 6, 2009, Mrs. Ellen Warford of South River, aged 94 years. Predeceased by parents Patrick and Mary (nee Harvey) Critch; husband Maxwell; infant daughter Theresa Joan; sisters: Mary (Dennis) Meehan, Margaret (Dennis) Murphy, Theresa (Austin) Linehan; brothers: Michael and Cornelius. Leaving to mourn son Michael (Linda); daughter Barbara (Tom) Anderson; sister Betty (Frank) Linehan; three grandchildren: Colin (Charlotte Bonia), Brian (Andrea) and Paul Warford, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Tuesday 2 to 5 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from All Hallows Roman Catholic Church, North River. Interment in the All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Salmon Cove, South River. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
