Devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who passed away suddenly on Feb. 22, 2012, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL. Predeceased by her husband Moses, sons: John and Joe and daughters: Catherine and Kay (nee Whelan) and grandchildren, also members of the Lewis and White families. A great soul that will be sadly missed but never forgotten. A woman who was stronger than most people or even saints that we know of. Her strength will hopefully live on in all whom she left behind. Leaving to mourn son Ambrose (Helen); son-in-law Tom; daughters: Mercedes Mason (Andrew), Agnes Coveyduck (predeceased William), Geraldine McClean (Charlie), Loretta, Jeannie, Anna Weller (Rocky) and Ursula; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and very close family friends. She will be resting at Conway's Funeral Home, Conception Harbour, with visitation Friday 12 noon to 9 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Anne's Church, Conception Harbour. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
