WILLIAMS, Edward Leone, 70, Allendale, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, February 18, 2012. Born in Lockeport he was a son of the late Robert Leamund and Myrtle Kathryn (Atkins) Williams. Edward was a loving husband, father and grandfather. For most of his working life he was involved with the fishing industry until his retirement due to ill health. He enjoyed his grandson, Jacob. He was an avid outdoors man. He loved playing 45’s and crib. Ed was a former member of both the Lockeport Kiwanis Club and Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Irene Allen; sons, Paul, Bedford; Steven (Christina), Ninevah, Lunenburg County; grandson, Jacob; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Leonard & Leamund. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport. At his request no visitation or memorial service was held. Donations may be made to the Lockeport First Responders or the Tri-County Voluntary Order of Nurses.
